Hey, I’m Tan
Is your child having emotional difficulties at home or at school?
Play therapy can help.
What is Play Therapy?
Play is the language that children know best. Play therapy allows children to express themselves through the medium of play.
Play therapy is child-centred, moving at the child’s pace and in a way they are comfortable with. I provide a safe space for children to explore what is troubling them, and to build emotional resilience, self-confidence and coping strategies.
Who benefits from Play Therapy?
Play therapy supports children experiencing difficulties including trouble at home or with friends or school, loss and bereavement, trauma or illness experienced by the child or within the family.
I work children with a range of SEN needs, neurodiversity, chronic health problems, and other challenges that create anxiety or upset.
Tan is very engaging and welcoming to my son, who is thoroughly enjoying his play therapy sessions.
His confidence and his articulation of emotions has improved notably since he started sessions a few months ago.
